Sunsets surf has been part of the Gwithian area and our holidays for many years now - lets keep it that way!
Hope this is not a plan by the council to make the lease of the nearby toilets / plans more attractive,

We love Sunset surf. As a family we have been holidaying in Gwithian for 50 years (and my parents before that!) We now have two holiday homes @ Gwithian Sands and recommend all of our visitors enjoy Sunset Surf. Please keep this lovely place open. Good luck Doug and family. Rick, Katy and the boys.

We have visited Gwithian for our holidays for the last four years and have seen the changes at sunset surf and have commented this year on how good the improvements look, I find it unbelievable that anyone could have a problem with the way it looks. The changes that have been made to sunset surf are a great improvement and I am sure no one in the local council can justify refusing planning for a great local attraction.

I wish to support SunsetSurf retrospective planning application number PA15/05086 , it is essential to support small local businesses as they are the life blood of not just the county but the country as a whole

Sunset surf is a modern safe structure built with no intent to invade neighbours privacy, I'm sure those sitting on the decking would prefer to look at the view that attracts so many (money spending) people to the area, rather than looking into peoples gardens! The structure is pleasing to the eye and well kept (unlike some of the 'chalets' that have hung on to life since the 50's along there).

When we stay here first place we visit for a drink is Sunset Surf, this needs to stay open.

This area is only served by Sunset Surf and the Jam Pot, catering for the many residents and tourists. Without one of these businesses the area would be at a disadvantage compared to other places. There is a significant sized car park which encourages people to visit, and a large beach. Without places to eat/drink/participate in activities through lessons, the area would suffer and so would the many visitors/residents. Sunset Surf is an established, well run and well loved business. Is Cornwall Council going to take away yet another gem. Our reasons for visiting Cornwall diminish each year!

I have been coming to Sunset Surf for years and have seen it flourish from a little shop into the thriving business that makes the Gwithian/Godrevy experience something even more special. Fingers crossed that the Planners see sense.

A great facility for locals and tourists alike. The webcam can be viewed all over the world showing just how beautiful Gwithian is which is also a potential asset to the local community.

We love this place and the improvements carried out have really added to the atmosphere and overall attraction of the building. It is a pleasure to have somewhere so nice to sit and admire the views whilst enjoying the lovely food and coffees. It does not make sense at all to put local jobs and supply chains at risk; this is just the sort of place we as holidaymakers expect on our visit each year to Gwithian Towans.

I cannot believe that yet again the local council are going to close something that fits with the local environment, but will probably pass a monstrosity down the road because they signed the right forms.

Much loved cafe. Essential for the many visitors to Gwithian supplying great locally sourced food and drinks. The place would not be the same without it.
