I'm both astonished and disappointed in this decision. Are you hoping to oust every single local in place of a desolate wasteland of holiday homes? That's what you're doing Cornwall Council.

Over the last 12 years as a surf photographer Sunset Surf has played an essential part in so much to do with the surf community as well as being the best Cafe around its a meeting place a haven from the cornish weather and just a great part of the community. Their Continuance is essential to Gwithians frindly community

We regularly visit from Buckinghamshire and would greatly miss this 'sit out eatery' and surf store. Yet again Cornwall Council seem to be very anti holiday maker income!!

I have holidayed in Gwithian for two weeks in each August of 2014 and 2015. I have used this cafe, and we watch the webcam regularly and hope to be back there next summer. I have read a lot of the comments posted here, and totally agree that the benefits that this cafe provides to the Beach and Towans areas all year round are immeasurable. It would be unforgivable for Cornwall County to endanger the benefits this cafe provides.

We come to gwithian every year for our holidays and always have. Few visits to sunset surf also we check on the web cam to see the sunsets so we feel closer to Cornwall

Do not refuse this. Do not force this reputable thriving business and community to close! Been coming here for years, every year we come to Cornwall. It's a fantastic place to eat and relax and has a good local vibe and welcoming to visitors

Please allow this business to continue. Storm damage has caused enough problems as it is. Petty bureaucracy is not constructive or useful.

Having undertaken a site visit myself since the works were undertaken I see no legitimate planning grounds not to approve this application.

This excellent small business provides an invaluable hub for both the local community and the many thousands of visitors to the area each year. Their online services and webcam provide a link to the extended community of surfers and non-surfers and promotes Cornwall throughout the country and beyond. I first visited Sunset Surf several years ago on a family holiday from Sheffield and return as often as I can. This business is worthy of support and I hope their planning application is successful.
