We have just booked an autumn break to a large extent on the strength of knowing the sunset surf cafe. Also as a small business owner I know how difficult it can be to keep things running. The council should be supporting this kind of venture and recognising that its place in our hearts is also worth a good deal to the pockets of the local area and beyond.

This is a great shop and a great cafe. It's a real asset to Gwithian and is a great attraction for people as well as the beach. I've had countless great times here it would be devastating to see it forced to close. The improvements look amazing and make the place feel great!

I have been visiting Gwithian regularly since 2005 and the Sunset Surf Cafe is always the highlight of of my stay in the area. I love the new conversion, as it integrates well with the surroundings and provides more seating for visitors. It would be an immense loss to the area should the Cafe has to close down.

Will do anything to support this fabulous hardworking business! Always doing the best for the community and their customers. This family have tirelessly worked to make this place a success....surely anyone can see what they had to do was for the safety of everyone? The overall building hasn't changed at all! X

Be positive . Think of others . Don't jeopardize your future tourism. A rejection now will send a signal that Cornwall is scaling back and we'll go to Norfolk where the sun shines

I love this little haven of a cafe its been beautifully remodelled only enhancing the experience of being there it would be foolish to refuse planning on a thriving small business arent we supposed to support them...good luck Sunset Surf

I've visited the Sunset Surf almost every year since I was a baby, my parents used to book the chalet next door annually. It would be a huge shame to loose something that's been there ever since I can remember.

As a repeat customer of Sunset Surf I would ask the council to reconsider its decision and allow Sunset Surf to continue providing wonderful hospitality to my family
