My daughter loves playing at Sunset Park, but it’s hard for her to find a space to practice. More courts are needed.

My league team had to buy our own net and line to manually set up on the grass area because the park cannot accommodate us and the large volleyball community.

Please add more sand courts. It is so difficult to get a court at sunset park!

We really need more sand volleyball courts at Sunset Park. We should be encouraging and building more infrastructure to support volleyball to motivate everyone to have a healthier lifestyle, not be tearing down those courts. You’ll always see more people gathering and playing volleyball at Sunset Park, than the amount of volleyball courts available. Sunset Park is one of the biggest parks in Las Vegas and we should be proud of it and improve it!

Go out and see the lack of availability of courts. More courts are needed before shade...most players have their own means of shade and would rather use/bring that if it means more courts.

Please don’t add those structures to those areas but instead add two additional volleyball courts in those areas as it’s much needed. The volleyball community keeps getting bigger and bigger and there is a need for those court for the youth in this town that no other area can provide. This is very important to the community.

I think the growing popularity of sand volleyball is support enough to consider the addition of new courts over other structures that limit further expansion. Also the decision to close the courts during May for the rest of the year is somewhat questionable especially as we were all just gearing back up from the cold. Isn’t winter a more reasonable time to close this area?

Even on days that aren't the nicest, the courts are full for most of the afternoon. More courts are needed as the size of v Vegas is ever expanding. Also, a spot where there is sand but no courts will help keep families with children from playing on the perimeter of the courts as well.

Really wish the players were asked what they wanted here, I understand we wouldn’t have final say but hundreds of players play at Sunset park daily/weekly and we have a much better idea than anyone else what is needed. A lot of money is being spent in the wrong places and it’s very unfortunate. Money is wasted and now our season is lost. Even if this had to be done, it couldn’t wait until Fall/Winter when it’s too cold to play. Sunset park is really the vocal point of sand volleyball in the city and this decision really rubs a lot of the players the wrong way.
