At least the beach will be kept up...a far cry from the last time I was down there. Great idea as long as people respect

I live a few block from the beach and I support this venture with only minor reservations. The park infrastructure will likely need to be improved for the additional parking, bathrooms, and maintenance. The beach can manage more people enjoying it, especially for sport activity, like volleyball, biking and walking the Waterfront Trail. All residents can use the courts and these healthy pursuits along with quiet times enjoying the scenery.

Git er done. Don't forget....the smell from the sewage treatment plant located directly adjacent to the parking area has the tendancy to permeate the beach area at least 50% of the time. Not really the nicest odour to inhale as you're making diving saves or jumping up to spike. Jus' saying. I attend the beach area year round and the stench is a bit of deal breaker for whether or not I am hanging around.

My kids played beach volleyball for numerous summers. Great for them and a pleasure for us parents to watch.

Think about the residents who live there everyday. This doesn't explain anything. They are putting 12 nets, 12 nets is A LOT. And they are putting them right in the middle of the beach, where people like to watch the sunset. There simply isn't enough parking to hold this many volleyball players plus the cars that actually want to go to the beach. There are plenty of other places to go
