Hello Les- We are simply seeking to change the CC&R's by adding "assisted living facility" to the uses permitted on the property. Please refer to my response to Ron Schaaf for more information. Thanks, Christian

Hello Ron- Thank you for your questions. The CC&R's currently do not allow "assisted living facility" within the uses permitted on the property. We are simply seeking our "assisted living facility" use to be added to the permitted uses through a collection of signatures of 75% of the owners in the surrounding neighborhoods of the property as stated in the by-laws governing the property. This petition is the consent to allow our proposed use by the homeowners. We will be subject to an SROA design committee review approval in which homeowners may participate, as well as subject to Deschutes county approval. We intentionally did not include an e-mail as we wanted to use this web site to answer questions for all to read. This represents our ownership of 2 properties in Sunriver; #3 Ochoco Lane(our residence) and #9 Tokatee Lane (vacant lot).

I like the proposal but would like more information about the CC&R changes.

I received the petition letter in the mail today, and it provides the same information as this site - which is to say, almost none. - What part of the CC&R's will be changed, and how? - Is this petition gauging initial response to this proposal, or is this petition deemed final consent of the homeowners? - Is there an e-mail address available to ask questions related to this proposal? The letter doesn't including any contact information other than a return address on the envelope.

This will allow some of our older friends to remain in Sunriver instead of having to move to Bend.
