Building here will cut off driver sight lines. I believe it is dangerous and irresponsible. Inconsistent to surrounding neighborhood. Doesn’t meet requirements for Charlotte’s Southern District Plan for residential development. Not accessible to emergency vehicles.

I'm completely in opposition. The proposed development is typical of the kind of high density development that Charlotte has allowed to run rampant across our city, all in the name of tax revenue. Our city turns a blind eye as developers snap up every open space in Charlotte with plans to cram as much high-end high density units onto those properties. And we wonder why the City of Charlotte has a huge affordable housing problem?

Much too dense. Not nearly enough parking. Completely out of character for the neighborhood. Will be an eyesore and create huge potential for traffic accidents. Too much noise and disturbance for what is currently a very peaceful neighborhood.

We need less units to ensure it maintains the look of it’s surrounding homes. Units should be all brick, include sound / privacy barriers, and maintaining our large spaces. Halks and large owls live in this space.

No. Larger lots will still create tax revenue for the city without lowering the value of the surrounding homes. Larger lots also allow for more trees to survive the redevelopment. It is shameful the amount of mature oxygen producing beautiful trees Charlotte loses per day. Stop allowing developers who have no vested interest in the property to ruin our beloved city!

I understand a developer wanting to get the maximum return for his investment but he needs to consider the homeowners who have lived here for a long time. Build less houses that are nice - you can get s nice house on 0.25 acres. That would yield around 10 or so. Then sell the houses at a higher price to help recoup the loss. These are what I call rabbit boxes., not houses. Who would want them? Not someone with long term aspirations. We need families with children and dogs. With these rabbit boxes there’s not even a place for a child to go outside.. There will not even be enough room to park the cars unless only single buyers purchase them. This is a bad idea ad planned. Be considerate to the long term residents who live here. I vote NO.
