We need this bike trail. Manatee Ave is not a suitable place for it.

We most definitely need this trail and we need it OFF Manatee Avenue. I am a 20-year avid bicyclist and I will not ride Manatee. Please either keep the Riverview route or consider some re-routing where you have the bike path connectors at 45th and 67th or consider the Shore Acres neighborhood.

We need more than a plan, we need safe bicycle routes. Ware's Creek is terribly unsafe.

This is something that Manatee County has needed for a long time.

The problem is that the new Sun Trail Priority Map (DRAFT) just came out and the original recommended trail in Bradenton has been deleted in favor of a direct route down Manatee Avenue. That is what we are trying to change, to get the the original trail back on the Priority Map. See: http://ourmanatee.com/2018-Priority-Trails.jpg
