I am hoping to gather enough signatures to try and convince RTE to subtitle Leaders Questions. At the moment it is not subtitled. This means that the deaf and hard of hearing community cannot follow what's going on. Why should these members of society be left out?
Apparently, the audience numbers do not merit the extra money needed in order to provide this service. If there's sound provided, why not subtitles? I don't see the difference.

its basic fairness really. deaf people pay their tv license just like everyone else so give them access to what the politicians are saying. RTE need to cop on
