Such a hard story to hear, I simply cannot imagine having to live through it.
There is so much room for improvement in Nova Scotia's health care system.
I sincerely hope this movement is able to make necessary changes.

I coached this young lady in soccer and witness her competitiveness. She would battle on despite the odds...so we will also!

To all the Doctors out there: You swore to take an oath to help people not kill them.
To the system that fails us: If your in in for a paycheck get out......if your in in to save people make a difference!
Speak up! Be heard! Let's not let our brothers and sisters die from neglect.
To all those who swore to do no harm..........DO NO HARM! AND FOR THOSE WHO DON'T I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU CAN LIVE WITH YOURSELF!

I watched this video and it broke my heart. I myself have problems "The Doctors just cannot seem to figure out". So I live in misery everyday and do my best to get through. I can't make plans not knowing if I'm going to feel okay, I look like I am pregnant but not. It's been years since I have had a good day. I know several other people with the same problem. Where's the solution? My mom died at 48, I thought I would too. Similar symptoms. Doctor's need to REALLY LISTEN TO THEIR PATIENTS AND DO SOME FOLLOW UP WORK UNTIL SOME ANSWERS ARE FOUND!! I AM GLAD TO BE ALIVE, BUT FEEL I HAVE NO LIFE!!

Thank you Tanya, on behalf of everyone who benefits from this amazing effort and tribute to your beautiful daughter.... during what must have been such a difficult time for all of you. This shouldn't have happened ... especially considering the Time and energy that you and your family had no choice but to invest, in finding a diagnosis (isolated and unsupported on your own) for your daughter's condition ... In spite of the medical system's bias and overconfidence.
I'm so sorry for your loss. This information will empower and educate so many people who might not otherwise have the ability to take their health(or that of their family's health) into their own hands.
.............Thank you Jessica............

My friends brother died of Long QT while drinking wine with his wife on the deck of a restaurant. He was asymptomatic. Father was the carrier and entire family was tested. So sad that doctors' don't listen. I'm truly sorry for your loss and hope my signature helps.

My daughter has been a victim of the system misdiagnose and placed on medication that she never should have been prescripted. My heart goes out to you and your family with the loss of Jessica. I hope that the number of medical error are told and that more Doctor and specialist are made accountable for their actions.

Never mind medical errors, WHAT ABOUT Medical Insurance Fraud? Deliberate denial of "Timely Medical Diagnosis - Timely Medical Treatment" Canadian Injured Workers are deliberately CRIPPLED by medical fraud - Corruption, used to deny workers comp benefits;

Our son took his own life 29 Apr 2014, Mental Health did not look after him, constantly letting him out of hospital when he was definitely Manic from Bipolar, released from military service March 2014 he was given enough antipsychotic and bipolar meds in a paper bag to last 3 months while he had to look for a new civilian MD and his "priotity" psychiatrist after release....well his first appointment was July!!! When he needed one the day after his release, my son died by taking all of his medication, Mental Health system is horrible and laws for letting people in mania and depression leave a hospital because they are adults and make their own decisions needs to change!!!!
