I'm proud of my friend Matthew Sorak for standing up and being counted. I am saddened that it took a young person to do what adults should have been doing all along.

As an educator and parent, I believe that students and staff safety should be a priority.

Encourage your friends and family to show support and vote out the legislators who oppose changing the gun laws. Congress makes the laws. The NRA has bought our representatives who are supposed to represent the American people and they are not.

I support increased gun laws and more demanding background checks to keep our communities and schools safer.

We should ban military style weapons outside the military. There is no any good reason to allow people own the military style weapon.

It’s way beyond high time to implement universal background checks and to ban military style weapons outside the military.

As parents how can our hearts not go out to all the victims and inspire us to act finally. Let's keep it up after the news coverage has faded and stand together until we see real change.

How many kids have to die until we see a change?

Enough is enough. How many more innocent CHILDREN have to die before things start to change? Schools, the movies, the mall and so many other places where guns have killed, are supposed to be fun and safe. Let's make our people feel safe.

The youth are inspiring! The shootings and loos of life are devastating. We need to recreate safe spaces for living and learning and create boundaries to protect people from violence. Carry on! #millionyouthmarch!
