Thank you for taking a stand to stop all of these senseless and devastating tragedies. There is are so many disasters going on in the world, disasters caused by nature, disasters that we can’t control, disasters that every year take so many lives. And it’s so very sad that on top of all of that, we also have to fear guns in our schools, churches, hospitals, and do many other places....places that we should feel safe from the violence of guns. When we lived in the States my kids attended Centennial Lane Elementary and Burleigh Manor Middle School. Being from the UK I was quite frankly shocked that the children did drills at school to prepare for this kind of situation. Clearly everyone expects it to happen! And unfortunately it does happen - and it will continue to happen unless things change.
If you do what you've always done, you'll continue to get what you've always had.......
Nobody except the military/police needs a gun. Nobody. Period.

I don't want ANYONE to be able to obtain military grade firearms unless they are in the military, or are employed in a profession where this capability is required. Every firearm owner should be required to have liability insurance commensurate with the danger posed by the firearm.

Vote out the GOP representatives who are beholden to the NRA in November midterms. Dont stop the pressure from this moment until the election. We will not forget this fight.
