Although I struggle in his class I can easily go to him for help and he’s always there and tries to explain it in a way that might make more sense. I am grateful for him and think he deserves that position more than anyone else.

He demanded more of me in many units where I though that I couldn’t even do the simple things and made me a better mathematician. This is ridiculous.

I went through his math class in seventh grade, and I enjoyed it a lot. I realize I probably wasn't the easiest student, but Mr. Rollfinke always looked out for me and helped me work out what to do. He's now helping my younger sister, and I can really see how dedicated he is to this, almost always staying until six o'clock - or later! - to offer help to anybody who needs it.

Mr. Rollfinke was an amazing teacher for me. I had a year that I still remember in class, learning so much. He was also my advisor and I was able to grow a deep relationship with him. He is a genuinely kind, supportive and gracious person. He helped me transition in to a young adult and Friends will be doing a great disservice to their students by releasing him.

Mr. Roll has so far been my favorite adviser and my favorite math teacher. I would really, REALLY hate to see him go.

I don’t know the reasons for why Mr. rollfinke would potentially not be coming back next year, but it sounds unfair to me. For me, he is an excellent math teacher, and challenges me everyday. He also is a great advisor, where he helps me and everyone else in my advisory with everyday problems. And even though I don’t play baseball, he seems like a great baseball coach and him leaving would impact many people. Overall, I feel this is unfair for him, and everyone else.

Mr. Rollfinke is a man of respect, courage, resilience, and passion. As my seventh grade math teacher, he inspired me to pursue my passion for math, and I have vivid memories of his, his homework (always out of 8), and him as a person. If Friends is going to let go of Mr. Rollfinke, I can assure everyone he will have no trouble finding another job as an independent school teacher at any of the local area schools. Mr. Rollfinke is a gem, and I am deeply saddened to hear about this incident.

He is one of my favorite teachers and coaches I have ever had. The fact that after 31 years of service for this school that we can turn our backs on him is embarrassing.
