Item 2. Comical enough as is, but the bad grammar just makes it sad.

Get a life, you pathetic losers! You are not entitled to an education at this school, and you are in no position to make demands at a state university.

Close the Government schools. Send all the whiney ass petition people back to their jobs at McDonalds and Starbucks. Half of college students shouldn't be there anyways.

It is admirable that students at WWU are actively trying to alter the social and political landscape on campus, and between students and staff. Also, the demands, as others have noted, are a bit extreme, but it makes sense in that you wouldn't enter a negotiation with powerful institution and make demands that don't leave breathing room for an agreement that both sides can live with. That's just good bargaining. If you want $100 and actually demand $1000, then you might actually get that $100. On a more critical note, many of the demands as far as the College of Power and Liberation are already met within the Political Science and Communications department, as well as Fairhaven College (the interdisciplinary College on campus). I'm a white cis-male and I learned a lot about institutional racism, the rhetorical construction of the Master Narrative, and how knowledge is created and confirmed by society in order to continue the dominance of (as bell hooks calls it) the White-Supremacist Capitalist Patriarchy. If you are interested in social justice then take advantage of the resources that these departments offer, or maybe attempt a discussion with Department heads in order to implement some of the changes this petition is calling for on a departmental level (which is probably more of a possibility than the sweeping changes that are demanded). Lastly, the demand that Multicultural Residence Halls is kinda vague. Would white people be allowed? Would it be a place for POC (People of Color) only? What about people that are multi-racial? Can someone who is one quarter black and three quarters white get in? It is an odd demand. I lived in the dorms when attending WWU and they were pretty multicultural ( as multicultural as a majority-white campus can be), and I learned a lot from POC that lived in the dorms with me, especially about their lived experiences which was important for me ( a white kid that grew up in rural Eastern Washington) to understand the daily struggles

The semi-literate creeps who drew up the petition are following in the footsteps of the totalitarian monsters who wrote these rules. But they are too stupid and evil to understand this. What's next? Re-education camps for cishet white men? Or should that be "mxn"?

Can't WWU just expel these little fascists? Their demands are an absurd mix of Marxism and self-pity. Their parents should be rounded up and publicly flogged for raising such high strung, navel-gazing brats.

Learn what colonialism is and isn't. You're in college, and are very well placed to do exactly that. I know it's in fashion to label everything under the sun as colonialism, but words have meanings and should be used accordingly. You'll probably never be better placed to learn about it than you are now. Also, fire your editor. University students should be able to write better than that.

Work for social justice, stop oppression!
