With Mr. Calverts counsel my child would not have made it through elementary school. Or have the skills to help make it through the 6th grade. 7th grade is even harder and without his help my child may not be here. Even though my child no longer goes to his school he still helps to this day. To be able to cope with growing up its not an easy road to travel. Jonathan Calvert is always doing his best to help every child whoms he see is in need of anything.

Why on earth would anyone stop something that is so beneficial to these kids? Hell start a go fund me acct and pay his salary. Obviously the new principal seems to be more concerned with dollar signs than the positive benefits that so many kids need

One point that will likely be made in regard to losing a Guidance Counselor at the School is that there will still be counseling services available to the students. My understanding is that the funding for Mountain Comp to be located at the school is different funding than what is used for positions such as Jonathan Calvert's position. Therefore, Mountain Comp will still be providing counseling services to the students. My question is what happens when the funding for Mountain Comp runs out? I am grateful for the services that Mountain Comp provides Livermore Elementary School; however, no one goes above and beyond like Mr. Jonathan Calvert. He has had and continues to have such a positive influence on so many students. #keepmrcalvert #studentsfirst #putpoliticsaside

Students deserve and have a right to have proper mental health resources. This is a major part for them. Taking this away can take away the confidential say place for children to go.

Mr clavert is a wonderful asset to livermore elementary school. It's hard to get young children to open up about their feelings, their home life, their day to day struggles that they can't help, understand or figure out. Mr Calvert has a very special gift of communicateing with the children and they don't even realize it's for their mental well-being. He needs to stay!!! What are the children who depends on him to be that one person who listens, understands or just makes them feel special. Please, put him back in livermore school for the children!!!!! Thank you!!!

It will be a huge loss to LES in many ways if Mr. Calvert is let go. The children including mine look forward to talking to Mr. Calvert he has been a inspiration to many children and families. Find another way to cut funds there has to be other options the School could look at.
