This is an out rage! My son and many other children love Jonathan Calvert. He’s an amazing role model for students, especially in a low economical area such as ours. Kids in these situations many times struggle with self confidence and god only knows the troubles some of them face at home. He’s a friend to these children, someone they can trust. These children needed and have friend in him. To fire Mr. Calvert would not only be a huge mistake, but leave many students feeling alone in a world already full of uncertainty. Great job LES!

He is an amazing person. Loves all the children. And works hard at getting them to open up, and helps in any way possible.

So many times these roles & the people in them play a HUGE part of kids lives & more often times than not actually SAVE them also from others surrounding them inside & even outside of home. Also many, many times save them from theirselves…due to battles they face that are usually silent or silenced from another person/persons & are able to feel safe & trust enough to voice those very things & receive the help & resources they need to protect them & potentially even others. PLEASE SAVE THIS EMPLOYMENT POSITION & GIVE THEM JOB SECURITY… not even for them… the innocent children they are serving, helping, protecting, healing, & SAVING ALL THE TIME in the present little lives & from detrimental consequences it could have for their futures in so many ways.

Let me 1st off by saying the o e person that needs to go is MRS. MELTON. On the other hand Johnathan has done nothing but help all these kids and even mine. I guess she is the big BULLY her and she enjoys to see her students cry over a person who is so caring towards them ( Johnathan)

Mr. Calvert is a giving and caring person. In this day and age it is hard for kids to find someone to look up to. This county needs Mr. Calvert. Our kids future's depend on people like Mr. Calvert.

Good male role models are few and far between anymore, and Livermore Elementary is blessed to have Mr. Calvert. He is a big plus for McLean County schools. Let's not discard our blessings. Reconsider, and keep Mr. Calvert.
