Students Deserve Better: Fix Enrollment and the Website

this system has been getting more and more ridiculous. Now, most of us can't even get into the same assignment group that we formed. We not only have to endure with some lecturers' bad attitudes, and have to endure assignment groupmates that are using chatgpt or don't even care about the assignment at all. What are we paying for? Another issue, why are people retaking the subjects had the advantage of choosing and enrolling in classes last enrollment? Most of us could not get the preferred lecturer because the people retaking the subject take up all the spots that we wanted. This should be raised as well. We are not paying for a system like this.

Please change the enrolment system, it’s very difficult to access classes and enrolments.

Improve the website

What is the purpose of this policy? The reason that Fol admin gave me about this matter, is that this is MMU policy and they can’t do anything, and when I asked them what is the purpose of such policy, they can’t answer me. How do you want me to follow such policy, if you yourself can’t even provide me a reasonable explanation? Can MMU give us a believable and reasonable answer? How is this fair, I can’t even be a group with my teammates because of this. Is this policy made just to discriminate us? Just because we failed one or two subject. I find this policy extremely unfair.

I have called the person in charge several times to inquire about the enrollment date, but received no response. I don’t understand what they are getting paid for if students are left without answers. In the end, I had to call the FOL manager, only to be told that the enrollment date issue is due to the system. Honestly, MMU should do better. We are paying thousands in fees, yet all we get is a system that doesn’t make sense. If we are already in our 4th year, all 4th-year students should have the same enrollment date. This is simply unacceptable.

The system capacity must be improved, thank you.

The system must be changed to remove the unfair course credit hour system where people who do not have enough course credit hour did not get to enroll on the same day. Not only that, the system must improve to ensure that many students at the same time can enroll properly without always crashing.

I agreed, this is very unfair for me, whats the effect of loosing ch and choose class??. I cannot have the oppurtunity to have class with my friends! Whereas each of my friend have that opportunity. This has violate my right tho choose the class that i want

Website is always crashing and glitching therefore there are unnecessary delay in students enrolment process which shows unfairness when they have planned their schedule.

parents have to pay not just 1 cent but years of hard earned money yet with the available resources that you have, why choose to renew clic webpage interface, when the main issue has always been the enrollment system itself? is this where every cent of our money go to? investing into something thats not even necessary? many of us STILL use the old clic link because the new one only added more confusion and burden. we students reserve the right to have a better system that allows us to choose our preferred classes, not because of "entitlement" but really who would choose a class where we have to tolerate lecturer's or tutor's tantrum. sure, each of them have different teaching styles. but at least let us choose the class want. How long do you plan to delay this issue? this is extremely embarrassing coming from a prestigious IT university. A fair enrollment system is not a privilege BUT A BASIC FACILITY.

I have to enroll in the remaining subjects and extend by one day solely because of the elective subject’s credit hours, even though it can still be taken next semester . We paid for the course and we have the right to choose our preferred class.

I cant even enroll properly. Not giving me much of a choice and a terrible experience alltogether

When i wanted to register my Year 3 subjects which was on 30 September i couldn’t not enroll in it. It seems that i can only enroll the next day which is on 1 October. This is really unfair because it made me lose my seats in the classes I desired.

I strongly disagree with the implementation of this new system. It is unfair to students who do not have enough credit hours, as it limits our ability to register for new subjects in the upcoming academic year. Every student’s progress and circumstances are different, and this system does not take into account those who may face delays due to valid reasons. We deserve an enrollment system that is fair, inclusive, and supportive of every student’s academic progress — not one that penalizes us for circumstances beyond our control. I sincerely urge the university to reconsider and create a fairer approach that gives equal opportunities to all students.
