Wgu students deserve school choice that fits their needs and schedules. It is an accredited school that provides flexible schedules for contributing citizens. Please allow all students to make the best choices for them without pressure or bribes.

Without online college I would not have been able to get a degree. I worked two jobs while going to school full time to put myself through college. Online schools are legitimate. After attending a physical school to get my first degree I felt more challenged at my online school. Don’t knock something before you try it. Don’t ruin the lives of single mothers or fathers, working parents, or young students who have to put their self through school. Don’t, just don’t.

The manufacturing jobs of yesteryear are not coming back based off history. If there is not a group of educated/trained individuals to fill needed positions outside of that...
The opportunities and jobs will, as recent events show move outside of not only this area but this country.
One of the best chances is education for Ohioans to fight the Rust Belt stereotype. These are Ohioans working to be more than the manufacturing jobs that past generations banked on. That is no longer a stable/long term job/career.
It should be up to the student which university/college/school they attend. They should be allowed to select the one that matches with their goals and objectives.
Anything that may prevent that is a danger to the future of not only Ohio but the US and world.

Traditional brick-and-mortar schools are no longer viable for many students. Those people who are working full-time jobs, or full-time moms do not have time for traditional schools. The fact that they can do online school, at an accelerated Pace helps them to be able to get into the workforce which ultimately helps you are State bottom line. Those people buy homes, cars, and other taxable items. Please lose your old-fashioned View brick-and-mortar schools open the doors for those who want to do online through WGU and other schools. Thank you for your consideration.

This is outrageous. We shouldn’t have to pay inflated prices for education simply to stimulate the economy. Our degrees will increase our ability to stimulate the economy with better jobs and more spending.

WGU allows me affordable flexible quality education so that I can presue a dual teaching and special ed degree which the state of Ohio is in desperate need or individuals in these fields. I have researched Ohio schools and none fit my budget or time needs to be able to complete my degree while working full time with 2 children and remaining active in my community.

WGU provided me with an excellent education that I probably would not have finished at any other school. Don't take this opportunity away from others.

Please change this amendment, my husband and I are both WGU students who cannot afford to go to brick and mortar schools due to price and time constraints as working parents. Without WGU we would never be able to achieve our goals.
