Students Against Dr. Eric Sabbah

I have a very recent harrassment from what call himself sabbah. He is absolutely not professional when it comes for him to deal with also potential employees and he acts against the rule and call and email in inappropriate times not limited to his attitude and behavior when it comes to leadership and a mentor he absolutely just a show off. I SIGN THIS PETITON. AGAINST ERIC SABBAH IN UNIONITY

What's more frightening is the horrible reviews from students expressing the exact same concerns at two New York universities professor sabbah instructed at in the past; obviously, he does not learn from his mistakes.

I have taken 3 classes overall with this professor CS150, CS310, SE 458. Ive barely been able to follow and understand him. When it comes to exam and quizzes they are complete curve balls because some questions are vague. Some times I don't know whats being asked in them.

I did not understand the requirements or objective of all the mid-semester papers in Senior Design due to there being only 3 or 4 times the class met the entire semester. Even with speaking with the teacher almost every week and at least once asking what work was missing, some assignments were never even mentioned. Because of this, not everything was submitted.

A close friend of mine whom I regard as beyond brilliant (the guy is a very gifted writer and a savant when it comes to computers) has been acing all of his senior classes (just like every year before the current one) only to have nothing but issue after issue with this "professor". I'm no doctor, but when a person is sick, you can only treat the symptoms for so long before you need to focus on curing the illness that's causing them. In this particular case, there is a VERY long laundry list of symptoms caused by Dr. Sabbah (the illness). HELP these students! Cure the Illness that is Dr. Sabbah's pride and lack of understanding or compassion. He is exactly the WRONG kind of professor for Capitol. I considered myself a proud graduate of this school, but if the hiring of professors of Dr. Sabbah's ilk continues, it'll be hard to maintain school pride in a University I no longer love nor recognize. PLEASE do something about this!!

I dropped his Computer Algorithms class after the second meeting because I knew that I wouldn't pass. For the rest of the semester I watched my roommate as he slowly realized he should have done the same, but it was too late.

While I haven't had him myself, I have heard of the issues. With out small student body and high tuition we in fact are paying for quality. Please review these complaints seriously

When Majoriy of the students have to struggle this much, it should be easy to see a need for change. The responsibility of a teacher is to nurture their students. CTU is a small university and a marketing tool used by CTU is "small class sizes allows for more one on one time with the professor" well when your professor sucks, a high tuition university has to make sure their professors are able to fully comply with the "small class size." When they don't, the institution gains nothing! It gains only bad teachers, bad academic environment, students who can't progress, and lack of opportunity. Thus, the reputation is tarnished. In a small university, both the students and professors play a balancing act! The institution won't work without a good balance.

As a former student and known member in the info sec community, I was horrified by this professor's teaching methods and lack of effort with the students. This professor reflects negatively on Capitol and its values.

A teacher who teaches and treats students like this and does not show capability of improvement does not deserve to teach at this school.

I was struggling in CS-310 due to lack of teaching experience and because of this course , my overall GPA is lowered. Also because of this class, I probably am not going to receive the cum laude status at graduation. I hope the school can turn this to a pass/fail grade as it is unfair to student to suffer the penalty.

i will never take him again. He is the worst professor I've had at Capitol. I don't understand why he is signed up to teach an online class when he can't teach in person.

Took CS-150 with dr.sabbah during fall 2015 semester and was forced to dropped the class due to his inability to teach the material in a manner I could understand.

I took CS-150 in the Fall with Sabbah and was completely devastated. My 3.96 GPA was knocked down to a 3.5 due to a poor grade in a class that was not taught properly. Our INTRODUCTORY class was taught as if we had background in the coding field, and all questions were responded to in a condescending way with little to no help at all. I had previously filed a complaint with many students in said class and have been offered to take the class for free this summer. Although I am eligible to retake the course, I don't believe it is wise to allow someone who obviously doesn't match the teaching style at capitol to teach again. I purposely didn't take a course this semester when I saw he was teaching it (database) and noticed it was taken down a few weeks later. I do not wish to have my fellow classmates endure this poor style of teaching at our wonderful facility.
