disappointed but not surprised. lost hope in nkc district when tonka silenced me and switched my school after i was sexually assaulted on school grounds. guess who pled guilty tho.

As someone who was once a kid being ostracized for being lgbtq, this is so not cash money to say the least. Lgbtq+ is not perverted. It's not something to be hidden just because it makes people "uncomfortable". Representation matters.

You can try, but you can’t kill ideas. Kids will find these books (and I’m damn glad of it.). The most you can hope for is to make it slightly harder. Of course, at the same time, you’re increasing the appeal of those books. At the same time, you’re putting your own fear and weakness on display. You should be ashamed and embarrassed.
