Books should be available for diverse population; when a student feels feels marginalized and then can see themselves represented in a book, it may just save their lives.

Education is for all. Education needs to be inclusive, telling the stories of the many, whose voices historically have been denied, rejected, not valued, or forbidden. To be educated is to know much about many things, people, experiences, and places.

Burning books leads to burning bodies. Also, for you morons who want to ban books all you are doing is making these books taboo which will make the students want to read them MORE! So thanks for helping with that and helping increase book sales! Hahaha

We travel down a dark path when we start censoring content and banning books. This is not about protecting children this is about control and politics. Leave our libraries alone, leave our librarians alone!

Banning these books would keep so many young people from the chance of seeing themselves reflected in literature. This sort of thing can life-changing; don't take it away from them.

Do not ban books. It’s violating freedoms! Parents can monitor their child’s reading content. Shane on you

It’s simple. If you don’t like the book, don’t read it. Students should have a diverse selection of books available.

Stop kowtowing to bad parents who don't believe in exposing teenagers to adult themes. These are the same pathetic people who complain when new adults are naive to the real world.

I'm a library teacher in Australia, I'm signing this in solidarity with the educators and students in America, these arcane laws need to be abolished , the books that are being banned need to widely shared, the speak about all the issues that get shut down and swept under the carpet.

Banning books without due process is never how this process should work.

Book bans never work and are a product of those who are stuck in the medieval past. Remember the Catholic Index?
