I don't think it is safe opening school right now. I think online exams are safe. Not only me me many of us will be facing a lot of difficulties. We cannot risk our lives in this pandemic

Nice, trying to get rid of you're current 11th students by making such a daunting announcement one week prior to the finals. You won't have anyone left for 12th grade next year.

What I don't understand here is that this decision was taken in less than a week,without consulting the parents and students and wanting them to sign a consent where they want their students to state the the school is not liable for any loss whatsoever is just completely atrocious and very stupid.Since Manju madam says that they are following all safety measures then why not take responsibility on loss of students and gaurantee 100% protection against covid.Why do you want us to take responsibility when you have another choice that is to conduct online exams which is the safest option.I am sure I am not the only person I stand with the student and parents.This is very pathetic and dps management should be ashamed.

As a parent of a 9th standard student of DPS North, the school decision to conduct the final exams in offline mode is a keen jerk reaction to a government directive and not a dialogue based decision between DPS North school mgmt. & parents.
For the COVID pandemic year, where all exams were conducted online by the school till date, school mgmt. has not presented any strong reason to change the same for the final exams. Providing a carefully crafted parent’s signed consent form to assume responsibility for actions for sending their kids to school is a way for school mgmt. to evade any liability and is a strong indicative that school is not prepared to deal with any eventuality that hampers health of children, teachers and associated support staff.
As an institute responsible for providing guidance and shaping sutdents future, it should be elementary for school to keep a child’s frame of mind as a priority on such decisions.
While government has rolled out a vaccination program, they still request recipients to exercise caution and continue wearing mask and adhere to social distancing. It is a sign that there are still unknowns and citizens need to tread carefully.
In such an environment, in a matter of one week before the exams , an offline exam decision with lack of any sound supporting process from DPS North - a premium institute, does not resonate a justifiable measured decision.
