We the undersign hereby affirm that we would like extra-curricular activities to be returned to schools all over Ontario. The government and the teacher's unions have been unable to reach a compromise and we,the student body, are being forced to suffer as our extra-curricular activities are being used as bargaining chips. Extra-curricular activities such as sports and clubs not only provide a place of amusement for students, but also provide a place to make friends,learn and grow. By taking these away, the students are forced to go to school without utilizing school to it's full potential. We have been repeatedly told that the government and the teachers are meant to be here for students, to nurture and provide for them, so why is it that the needs of students are not being considered in this case but rather the pockets of the government and unions. Therefore, we woud like the education system to put the needs of its students first and restore extra curriculars in schools all over Ontario.
