Dear fellow citizens and government and private sector leaders,

We the undersigned, as citizens of West Virginia and the Mid-Atlantic region, are concerned that an outstanding economic development opportunity is in danger of disappearing.

We are writing to urge you to take immediate action to prevent the destruction of the South Charleston Technology Park. Without focused attention from government agencies, it appears that Dow, the current owner of the site, is likely to raze the remaining buildings on the site, destroying a resource with a value in the tens of millions of dollars.

Please take whatever action you can to retain this valuable resource. Thank you for reading this letter.
