Structural Integrators and Rolfers™ in Support of Sexual Assault Victims
In support of victims of sexual assault committed by Michael Solberg, we are collecting signatures from Structural Integrators and Rolfers™ stating that we are not trained to work intra-vaginally, as it is outside the scope of our practice. Furthermore, we take extreme precaution when working with the pelvis—we acknowledge the importance of consent and therapeutic context. It is important that we take a stand for ethical standards in our field to protect the integrity and value of our profession. We will be sending this petition to the detective and the D.A. working with this case, to provide clarity for the legal adjudication process. I’m shaken and disappointed that Michael Solberg sexually assaulted some of his female clients. We have seen miracles with our work, and I dare say that across the board there is a wonderous reverence for it. To disrespect THAT is unconscionable.
I hope the victims can gain some closure.
