The stripes system at LHS has been one of the most beneficial activities for students as it rewards those who complete their work with extra lunch and it provides support to those who need help. We have not seen stripes since 2020 and weve seen more students getting bad grades, not getting the support and guidance they need, and not keeping track of their assignments. Advisory has not brought justice as many students do not do work as most advisory teachers cannot help students with homework. We need to have student’s own teachers helping out the students. If we get enough signatures, we can come together and bring back one of the greatest classes LHS has seen. If not, STRIPES we bee forgotten forever and students will not receive those essential benefits. #strikeforstripes
