Long overdue! Considering the amount of traffic and the fact that it is part of a scenic coastal route this little hamlet has suffered years of neglect. Please help bring this area into the 21st century.

I think it is time some money was spent on Ballyhornan. Loads of traffic going through the area as a tourist spot and needs to be looking better than it is at present.

That road is used by walkers and children all year round should have been a footpath and lights their long time ago

Infrastructure improvements badly needed in Ballyhornan. Particularly the link pathway between Killard and the centre. A vital link route for hundreds living in that area. Mostly used by elderly people and school children accessing school and local shop. Really hope this petition brings the issue a step closer to being resolved.

Ballyhoran is a very deprived and disadvantaged area which has been completely ignored for many years. The individuals and families pay their rates like everyone else and deserve not luxuries but the basics; roads, footpaths and lighting. The government need to get behind this scheme and give these people better living conditions.

Couldn't take too much to bring these terrible conditions up to a reasonable standard not a patchup. Ballyhornan village roads are in a serious condition to all including cyclists and pedestrians alike.

This is a disgrace that communities must live in these conditions. Again rural developments aking a back seat in today's society. This needs sorted ASAP why should these people pay rates and receive nothing in return

Of course they need street lights and the roads mended, what about the elderly and the kids coming and going to school in the dark, It's an absolute disgrace !!

They should be working especially these dark evening , and street lights and footpath as their are always people walking on that to shop especially I summer months put up on road leading up to shop and bar
