I live in Killard Square I am 65 years old. I had a fall 3 years ago due to these roads . I had got a lift over from Killard Square to Killard Drive As i got out of the car to walk up to Mustard seed House for my Art and Crafts I tripped on a pot hole and passed out. I had hit me head and the ambulance had to be called. I had a nasty cut on my head . When 5 pm cpmes on winter nights I cannot walk to the shop if I run out of milk or something as it is pitch black .I would have to walk over pot holes with a torch and when i do get on the main road there is no footpath to the shop. I enjoy going to Mustard Seed house but when they have evening functions i cannot walk over . i get embarrased if visitors come to see me as they always go on about the state of the roads. It's about time this village was updated to a standard like other peoples. We pay rates so why not do something about the roads and streetlights. Few houses have been broke into knowing there are no lights. Please help us .
