I'm trying to retire from performing live. I NEED to supplement my Social Security to survive, so I'm trying to start a internet station. I believe in paying the royalties, but it HAS to be a fair system! This needs to be fixed! I'm sure many other folks are too old/disabled to have to find a job and internet radio is a good choice for an at home business.

The "unfair pricing model" which currently exist and forcing smaller / independent broadcasters out of existence, solely due to unfair and unreasonable rates that could easily be remedied with some fairness and commonsense. Unless of course... the whole point is to drive out smaller, independent, diverse, internet radio providers who actually serve a purpose.

Please keep rates , also all artists that don't claim music for payment after 5 years soundexhanged can keep it. The funds should be refunded to the station's.

There was a time and place for the current "one size fits all". Not 25years later, especially with the changing landscape of radio. We need a fair system that welcomes new and current broadcasters. Not forces them out-Rock On!

No local radio exists in our county of 54,950 people if not for our streaming station. We are the only station that is hyper-focused on serving our communities. Remove the financial impediments, now.

The barrier to entry for new internet radio music stations is impossibly high and needs to change. I'm all for supporting music artists and keeping everything fully legal but the current fees make starting a new station impossible under current regulation.

Shouting out from Plains, Montana. Because of overhead costs, especially streaming costs I have had to reduce my staff. We are just a small rural Montana station.
I recently just pulled the station down to revamp our content to reduce the amount of music we play.
We are very limited on AM/FM stations due to the mountains but Internet has changed that access and we want to be apart of the change but our streaming costs needs to be reduced.
