Classroom learning is essential for the kids. It is important for cognitive and emotional growth.

As a members of one of the original founding families of St Patricks Parish, we strongly encourage the facilitation of this meeting. In these difficult times we believe the church should be doing everything possible to provide for the best possible situation for all the students and staff. Not doing so would be a rejection of the mission of St Patricks School which is .. "to provide quality traditional, Catholic education in a secure, caring and nurturing community." Every resource available should be employed to see that all students can return to continue their education.

I have to be honest as we are fairly new to the St. Patrick's parish, but I've never previously attended a church where the attached school wasn't able to leverage all of the facility and vice versa - maybe some of us just need to understand the rationale as to why?

Not only should our children be our first priority, but they are the future of our church. They need to be in school, and if there is space to accommodate that end, then by all means it should be prioritized

Our greatest priority for our Parish should be the educational needs of our children. To that end, please, please consider increasing the access to the Parish Center.

I think the children deserve to use the space if it’s safely possible,

It is important for the students of St Patrick’s to attend school in person. This is important for: scholastic, socialization, development and mental health of the students. The impact of this pandemic has been devastating to students from many different aspects. Some have experienced depression, isolation, behavioral problems, insomnia, and loss of appetite. It also has been challenging for the parents who have had to juggle working from home, running a house hold, being an adjunct teacher and still try to have work life balance. I highly encourage St Patrick’s to utilize any and all space available to safely open the school so all students can attend full time in a true scholastic setting with their teachers. They are the trained professionals to provide the best education for the students.

Please put our children first during this time when their education is being compromised by the COVID virus threat.

As an ardent supporter of the Parish, the School and the Parish Center though volunteerism and financial contributions, I urge that a compromise solution be reached that allows a strong Catholic education to reach our most vulnerable population who have suffered greatly during this pandemic. Please open the Parish Center and support our students, our teachers and the entire Parish family.

It is beneficial for all the students to be in an in person setting for their education and development socially, personally, and spiritually. As grandparents, we encourage and support all the students at St. Patrick's school to return to in person education 5 days/week. We strongly support all the parish facilities/center to be utilized for the students in a safe manner.

We love the St. Patrick’s community. The families, the teachers, the principal have all played a huge part in the development of our children and have created a safe and happy environment. It saddens me that our teachers and principal have had to spend so much time and brain power measuring space to try to make it work within our existing school walls and continue split class learning when there is an empty building on our school’s campus that is meant for the parish and our school makes up a good amount of the parish. We have survived because we are a strong community but this is taking a toll on our children.

As both a St. Patrick’s parishioner and a parent of St. Patrick’s students, I am hopeful that the almost entirely unused parish center can be used to meet the needs of these young members of the church. We look forward to working as a team to meet the needs of the entire church community.

St. Patrick’s is a very important place to my children and our family. We like so many other loyal school parents and parish families were happy to pledge and fulfill generous monetary support of both the school’s original founding and then this much needed and impressive parish center. Please open it up for the well-being of our school children, with its intended use to bring our community together. Thank you.

We have an amazing community, with a wonderful principal, group of teachers and staff, whom are working over time to meet our children’s academic, spiritual and emotional growth the best they can during this difficult time. I am disheartened to see that the Parish Center has not been utilized to get all of our students back in. However, I am hopeful that there will be an effort made to share the center since the church and school are family. Thank you to our principal and teachers for continuing their quest to teach our children the best way that they can in this uncertain time!

St. Pats has been bear and dear to our hearts sending 2 kids through there and running many fund raising events (silent auction and golf tourney for many years) to help get the parish center built. Would love to see it opened for classroom instruction. We have other kids in HS going to school full time and we are definitely seeing the benefits of this with no issues. Thanks for your consideration!!
