It is a shame to let meeting rooms in the Parish Center sit empty, when they can be used to allow for in-person classes for the children of St.Patrick School. Seems like a no brainer.

As a parent of an 8th grader, it would a shameful and selfish act on the part of our parish community to not work together to make the end of their last year at St. Patrick’s school a memorable one! The 8th graders miss their friends who are separated by opposite days of attending school. Many have been together for nine years and will disperse in a few months to different schools where they may no longer have interaction with each other. Please come together as a Godly community to show our children how much they are cared for!

Our family has had children at St. Pat’s for 13 years and the parish center was built only because of the generosity of a grandparent of a school family’s multi million dollar donation. After that, school families participated in a multi year building fund campaign where many, many families gave five figure donations. Parish families also participated as the original goal of building a gym expanded to a parish center.
Our parish school children are not being treated as the heart of our community and during these unprecedented times it makes no sense that our access to the classrooms is not a priority. I sincerely hope Msgr. Parry will prioritize our third graders and jr. high students for the remainder of the school year.

In special times like this, we as a parish family need to use all things available to us to maximize their use in order to gain consequential improvement of the immediate needs. Opening up and sharing the parish center is needed for the adequare educational needs of St. Patrick's school comunnity. Anything else is selfishness.

I am a parishioner at St. Patrick's Church and I want the students at St. Patrick's School students to have full access to rooms, facilities in the St. Patrick's Parish Center.

I have been a life long member of this parish and local community. We are privileged to have a resource (ie, building) that many others do not have. It would be a shame to have it sit empty or minimally used whilst needed to address the needs of educating our youth and having some semblance of normalcy for them.
