I do not want this project because it creates too much traffic flow and people in the quite San Dimas area.

Thank you for this petition. The Major and City Council have their own agenda, which means the Via Verde residents are not looked after correctly by the City Council.

"What is so compelling down in this creek that demands a project that will be open to the public? They already have access off of San Dimas Avenue where anybody can walk" Exactly, Why pave paradise to put in a parking lot. It's OK City Council, not every open green lot has to be touched by your hands!

We are asking you to halt this project and consider the residents of Via Verde and the likely deterioration of our quality of life. Just drive down San Dimas Ave on a weekend and look at the double parked, and illegally parked vehicles and the trash left behind at the entrance to the Walnut Creek trail. I cringe when I think of Loma Vista and the surrounding streets in my community having to deal with that.

It is wrong to bring outside traffic through a quite residential neighborhood for any type of recreational facility. That is NOT the neighborly thing to do. Additionally, the area should be allowed to remain in it's natural state. City of San Dimas, we already have Bonelli Park and San Dimas Canyon Park, please put your energy and funds into revitalizing downtown!

Please leave our precious city alone. I love San Dimas. As a single mother I raised my daughters here and they are now responsible adults. We do no need to crowd our streets and create a place for vandals to take over. We have enough clean recreational areas already. Our city council should not become like Obama and be a dictatorship. City Council do what the citizens of San Dimas/Via Verde and don't build the Walnut Creek Project!

Dear Sirs, I have relatives that live in this small, quiet community and I am very familiar with the vicinities that will be impacted by proposed changes. It will be a travesty if the San Dimas City Council along with other politicians allow commercial development that will drastically harm the present status of the neighborhood. I urge the San Dimas City Council to vote against the Walnut Creek Project and preserve the area as is to avoid the negative impact the changes will bring. Vote no! Sincerely, Ernest Salgado

We don't need anymore nature centers or campgrounds! The current maintenance park department can't keep up with the maintenance of the current trails. People are using the current Walnut creek trails to use drugs.
