It would be a great shame to demolish this place. what else do we have left along the waterfront, the entire area is being congested with condos, this is a place we could make great things happen for the community.

This Club has to be renovated and kept for our kids....they have to give to the young!!! I've used this club in the 80's and now I'm a sailor on Ontario Lake. It's nice to raise taxes but to give back some...How about the pool...like the Club only a bunch use it so why not the Club? Give something to do to the young other than the famous IPhone, etc...it will keep them away from doing stupid things in parks, etc...

My girlfriend and I very much enjoy riding our bikes from Lasalle to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue along the Lakeshore. The Sailing Club is where we usually take our little break and admire the view and peacefulness of the scenery. We believe that preserving the Sailing Club not only benefits Pointe-Claire's residents but also every Montrealers that passes by along la Route Verte.

Park is wonderful to walk our dog and enjoy the beautiful views of sailboats and calmess in the area. We do not have much greenspace in Pte Claire south to enjoy the calmess. This is a mature neighbourhood and not many young kids . Better off to do it North of the 20

Living on Lakeshore, I very much value Venture Park and the sailing club's activities on Valois bay as key elements in making the Valois bay area of Lakeshore such a peaceful and highly attractive area to live.
Demolishing this will much diminish the most valuable aspect of this area of Pointe-Claire.

Project not appropriate for a beautiful waterfront location
We pay taxes for the scenic waterfront view not for highway 20
There is enough noise with the highway we do not need more in the front
Playground for kids is not safe for them due to significant traffic on the lakeshore
Such playground should be setup in place like Ovide Park and in area highly populated with children

Why ruin the beautiful water front when you have numerous parks.
Very dangerous to have such a park near the water.
Will bring people from other areas.
Dorval was smart enough to have the play ground across the street. I can go on and on.
Your preject was not thaught through.

This city plan is a slap to the citizens of Pointe-Claire, a denial of rights to express our concerns and an uillegal act to change the statute of a dully registerd non-profit organisation while having no represenattion on the concill of that organisation.

As a student, Venture park serves as a quaint place to study as the warmer days roll in. The unmatched atmosphere certainly appeases a stressed out soul. Furthermore, it is the ideal place to take walks in the summer. However, creating a recreational park disrupts the view. Furthermore, the funds invested in this project do not better serve the population of Pointe-Claire, as Ovide park is not situated very far from Venture park. This money could be invested in a more meaningful manner.Basically, this moratorium affects not only the aging population of Pointe-Claire, but negatively affects all Pointe-Claire residents. My hope is that the council will hear our voices and understand the priority of its citizens.

I value the peace and spectacular view of Venture park. Furthermore, the citizens of Pointe-Claire do not need a family park there since Ovide park is just a few blocks away. Lastly, it's not safe to build a playground around the lake because kids may fall into the water and get injured.

I want the city of pointe-claire not demolish the Venture Sailing club and I definitely am not in agreement with the establishment of a supplemental recreational facilities.
