I do not support this endeavor. I feel it is too close to the city to be of benefit when one considers the effect on the neighbors and close businesses. The economic impact seems to be of most benefit to the owners, but what is the economic impact to the common people, schools and other businesses around the area who . If I remember correctly, several neighbors were affected by the blasing while building the mall and I think this may apply in the same context for the Quarry. Sincerely, Linda Champion

I'm worried about the negative health impacts it will have on myself and my family, considering how close I live to the proposed area. No building of a new quarry so close to a residential area

8381 Timberlane Dr. My neighborhood is right down the street from the proposed site. My neighborhood is already being ruined by huge housing development going in right behind us. This would be the final nail in the coffin for this neighborhood.

Douglas County has no need for another quarry. It won't produce any new jobs and the existing quarries serve the purpose. Our environment needs to grow with a different business focus. One that does not harm the environment of the county or endanger our riparian systems.

The train in itself causes so much difficulty for those crossing the tracks. Stopping it for trucks, that will also endanger the children and elderly that walk around here, will just cause more train accidents.

I lived in Douglasville for 5 years...the blasting would wake me up. The quarry is too close to town.
