Not only is electrical energy more efficient in terms of energy output, but it is better than diesel for the environment as well. Time to join the rest of Europe and electrify our rail lines.

It is time for the North of England to have a rail network worthy of the 21st century rather than the current 19th century type provision.

i'm sick of the south getting the funding and the North paying the price for neglect then they wonder why people are left behind up here.
