Please do not ruin the beautiful countryside with this quarry

I am concerned about the negative impact this project will have on the residents and the environment of Newmachar. Too much noise, dirt and damage to the roads. No advantage to the community.

Having lived near a quarry, I can attest to increased noise levels and use of the road. Unless it is of benefit other than commercial gain, I would be concerned that the impact on the local community and the environment would be too costly. At a time when natural habitat is under threat globally, Scotland can lead the way in maintaining areas of natural beauty and wildlife diversity and support communities with these values.

This proposal for a quarry should not be approved on the grounds of health safety and environmental issues. Heavy lorries have already caused issues on the surrounding roads and with this increasing in the event of approval then there will be fatalities. The increase of dust in the air is a concern for all families in the area particularly those with you children who are outside due to the safety of living in a rural area.

It is not needed, it will not benefit the local area but it will have a detrimental impact instead!

The right thing needs to be done here - it needs stopped. It is completely unnecessary for all the reasons outlined.
