Roads round Newmachar will not be able cope with the volume of HGV traffic proposed. Why damage the environment. I understand it will be close to the Formartine & Buchan way which is used by many.

Newmachar village cannot cope with the increased HGV traffic around the periphery. Noise, safety, and road congestion over a small bridge to Kingseat. Unnecessary destruction to the environment, unwanted impact on the very well used Banff & Buchan railway track. No benefit to the local community at all.

living in nearby Whitecairns, we have a similar quarry and I can say that all of your worries on the dust, effects on health, noise, damage to roads, infrastructure, wildlife and flora are completely warranted.

I definitely think this should not go ahead, I live on the main road and there is too much large lorries going through the village that actually vibrate my house. So no quarry for me please

I live beside a JKR development site and know the impact their heavy lorries have on narrow roads. Making driving impossible for other road users .

The roads infrastructure around the area is not fit to take the heavyweight vehicles that would be constantly driving through the area, also remembering that Newmachar and the surrounding areas has a very large number of families with young children

The B999 was severely damaged by fleets of 20 ton Jamieson trucks when building the AWPR do we want this to happen again ?

Newmachar is an expanding village which has a growing young population of families, evident by 3 intake classes of P1 pupils this current year. These children deserve to grow up in an ecologically sustainable environment not witnesses to the destruction and pollution of their surrounding landscape. This proposed Quarry development flies in the face of Aberdeenshire's own Newmachar East Development Framework and Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan (2012)(ALDP), Common sense must prevail to stop the Rainnieshill Quarry progressing

Local infrastructure can’t cope with heavy machinery. Work on the AWPR ruined the roads in the area and I can only imagine the heavy lorries that will be traveling to and from the quarry will do the same. Not to mention safety concerns over road safety for local commuters and children in the area. I don’t believe this will be good for the community.
