Strongly object, the impact on the environment and health of everyone in the village will be impacted by dust, fumes and noise from heavy traffic. It's adjacent to a beautiful countryside which is safe for our children and we do not want anyone's health impacted or the danger of heavy vehicles on these roads when children are walking to and from school. The noise level will also be an issue for everyone and will also undoubtedly frighten and have a detrimental effect on our wildlife.

I object to this quarry due the trucks adding to an already busy road network. This will add further risks to young children all over Newmachar and Kingseat with these 20t trucks all day. There is also the environmental risks to consider.

Turning a place called the Beauty hill into a quarry is outrageous

Newmachar can’t take Any more heavy motors. The village is being ruined with lorry fumes and dust will make it worse. Plus noise and danger for children

I think this is an absolute disgrace even thinking about having a quarry situated there. The council in their 'wisdom' went an put bollards in Hillview Road and cycle lanes, then they expect to have heavy vehicles running up and down there all day. Or will they have these vehivles running through Newmachar?Spoiling the walking on the Railway Line as well. Isabel Howie

A quarry in this area is unnecessary and will have a significant impact on the local environment, road safety, and the lives of local residents.

Listen to the voices of the residents in the area! This quarry should NOT happen. It has a bad impact on the environment which is awfully close to a primary school, housing communities, farms and shops. Having a quarry would also have a financial impact on the house prices in the area. Living in the village won't be a pleasant experience anymore if this quarry were to happen. The negative impacts of this far outweigh any positive outcome of having it in Newmachar.

Had I known this was being built I probably wouldn't have bought my house in Newmachar

I do not wish for this quarry development to go ahead as it is against my interests, and potentially damaging to my financial asset value.

Very little benefit yet a huge number of factors which have detrimental impact on the nearby residents, children, wildlife. The list goes on.

Research does show house values drop from activities such as the ones proposed. Locals should be protected from the financial impact it could have on their property value. Noise pollution from 06.30-19.00 everyday, 6 days a week for the next 17 years also sounds horrendous.

Kingseat residents want this place to remain a place of beauty and tranquility. not MORE trucks pollution and noise.
