Viridor'splans to build an incinerator to burn waste on the borders of Croydon andSutton have now been approved by Sutton council. We believe that this will be detrimental to the health of local residents and is a short-sighted method of dealing with our waste problem for the next 30 years. We urge you to sign this petition to show your opposition to this policy and to encourage government to consider alternative strategies for dealing with the problem of waste.
