I just received word that the threat to our neighborhood has been withdrawn and our homes are officially safe. I honestly never thought this would be possible when I started this page but you proved me wrong. This outcome belongs entirely to the 1,070 people who refused to stay silent.

UNBELIEVABLE. A private company wants more money so they use the government to kick us out?? STOP THIS.
My family has lived here for 40 years. Disgraceful that they think they can just bulldoze our memories for a strip mall.
If they can do this to anyone it stops being a free country. Keep your hands off our land.
So scary to think about. I worked way to hard for my home to let some developer take it.
This is just plain theft. My house isnt for sale and no developer should have the power to just take it from me.

Kelo v. New London was a huge mistake. Property rights are supposed to mean something in this country.
