Please do not expand the runway. Planes fly over our house often, but also we can hear them preparing for take off even though we are approximately 3 miles from the airport. Please do not expand. It will ruin our neighborhood/city.

I have noticed a large increase in air traffic, even in Aviara. It’s very distracting and very much adds to the sound pollution in Carlsbad.

Enough with this playtoy of the rich. We will never be allowed to buy a ticket to LAX as real people here. Stop this manifestation of the 1% dumping on us with their noise and potential accidents.

Don't turn this airport into John Wayne Airport. No reason small private planes can't get to 5 before turning.

Our current pilots aren't following FAA altitude rules, landing patterns for our classification of airport or our VNAPs (a requirement for their operating permits with the county) and you want to add more? Heck no. The aviation community has no respect for the residents, why should we support them to expand operations? We have literally airports everywhere in our county (so much so that you can't 'just move' without being in an area that isn't influenced by one). When are is the county going to accommodate the people who live and work here for reasons other than getting on a plane? There needs to be balance.

In Carlsbad and surrounding neighborhoods, residents would suffer extreme negative impacts from expanded Palomar Airport. Please protect neighborhoods from excessive noise, vibration, and air pollution from jet fuel. Keep the Airport as-is !

This is the wrong location for an expanded airport. Once a runway is expanded, there is no control on the size of aircraft that will fly in and out of Palomar.

The expansion to the Carlsbad Palomar Airport is unnecessary and will be detrimental to the health safety and value of real estate within a 7 - 10 mile radius of flight path.

Protect our city, protect our neighborhoods from unwanted noise pollution and jet fuel. Keep airport as is. We already have 2 international airports to serve us. We must protect our air quality. We are facing a climate crisis!! We do not need planes to pollute our air and ocean.

Strongly agree with this petition, the noise factor has increased ten fold in just the past several years. I’ve lived in this area since the early 1980s. Since the introduction of NextGen this year, it’s even worse.
