Too many small planes doing lessons over the beach communities as well as helicopters. Then add the Miramar copters flying up and down the coast at such low levels. We are surrounded by noise and pollution.

The existing right take off and landing pattern most directly impacts the peace and quiet of two Senior Citizen community’s directly beliow the flight path most often used by student pilots and training schools. This impact is disproportionate and impacts the health and safety of a vulnerable population.

They never follow the fight pattern and turn right immediately which the airport does not enforce nor do they care period? How about they get shut down completely if it happens again or the plane that’s doing this losses his rights to fly here!

The right to quiet enjoyment of our home it’s not possible with the number of planes that fly at a low altitude to directly over our home. Surely there is a flight path that can avoid going directly over residential neighborhoods.

Multiple planes taking off after 10 pm and flying very low to the houses. I’ve lived here 20 years and I’ve never seen them fly so low. I’m glad we’re doing something about it.

This continues to get worse including the banner towing planes. We need to exercise our right to preserve peace and quiet in our neighborhoods that are not even close to Palomar airport! Please stop this noise pollution from areas that should not even be flown over.

After listening to 17 planes fly directly over my neighborhood this Sunday from 9:30am to 12:30, I am so frustrated. Is it such a difficult request to ask these pilots to simply follow the recommended hours and flight paths? Oh…here is another one. I understand this is voluntary. However, as a landlord leasing the space to flight schools, I would think they could certainly require the schools demand this of their pilots. It’s now 12:36 and I have logged 19 small aircraft. Sure makes it difficult to enjoy a relaxing Sunday……………….

Stop the madness. Pilots are taking short cuts upon takeoff. These individuals or their corporations need to be charged with fines.

Do not make Palomar Airport any bigger - it’s too big already!! No expansion necessary- we are already ruining the charm of this beautiful city and do not need a bigger airport.

I do not support the expansion of Mcclellan-Palomar airport. Too much noise, pollution and ground traffic.
