I have 2 children at Cathkin High School and feel they should keep buses or even run buses for a small charge per pupil as children's safety is paramount

It is a total sham that the people of cambuslang east are being treated this way we need a new modern secondary school with all the mod cons as this is a deprived area and its always the least fortunate that suffer we a new school within the next five years as it will be melt down

I think this is terrible for the local children in our area! It's too dark, wet and cold in the winter months to expect them to walk to Cathkin or Trinity High.

I live in Westburn which would mean my son would need to walk to and from Cathkin High every day. This would mean leaving the house at 8am which is still dark in winter. This could also be dangerous as kids are having to walk next to main roads. I think this is a terrible decision that SLC have taken!!!!!

This is a critical service for children and parent who do no have the means to drive their children to school but also for parents who need to work.

l am sorry but this is unable to happen, as its not the same culture now too many lives will be put at risk walking three miles to school, even if we need to pay some of the cost almost all parents l think would pay to ensure the safety of their kids

our 'catchment' school journey requires us to travel past two other non-denominational schools. When there are schools closer to our front door but you choose that we should instead travel for 2 miles and past two other schools, you cannot take away school transport. Or you have to move pupils to the evil physically closest to prevent any need to transport in the first place, ridiculous suggestion!

Its very unfair if they do this. Our kids should be safe going to & from school.

The children have a right to safety on the way to school, roads are dangerous places and there are bad people around nearly every corner, children's wellbeing should be paramount, not saving a few quid for bonuses etc.
