The R.I. DEM has decided that recreational bow hunting is to be allowed this year in Snake Den Park. The bow hunting season extends from September to January. Snake Den Park is surrounded by dozens of homes and Brown Avenue Elementary School. The trails that crisscross the park are a magnet for walkers, hikers, joggers, school and youth groups, mountain bike enthusiasts, dog lovers, photographers and even ( the dreaded and illegal ) ATV's. Please help us reverse this arbitrary decision by DEM bureaucrats and sign the following petition. Thank you!
