As I have stated on many occasions, closure of ANY fire station and the loss of a single fire appliance and crew, will prove ' fatal', in every sense of the word to us all. To those making the decisions- STOP this madness Now!!

It beggars belief how this can be even contemplated. We genuinely need this service. Just look at what's been happening with RTA's floods etc. This will not be good news in the future for the county. Lives will be at

How on earth can this be justified? Recent events re flooding, missing persons in river, car crashes ????

Totally unacceptable proposal, means putting lives at risk for the sake of money. Other areas of the country's fire brigade get a much bigger allowance than our area and if the government put Hereford and Worcester in line with inner cities it would not need to make cuts.

By making these cuts you are putting lifes at risk my local fire station is tenbury wells which is run by retained fire fighters and they do a fantastic job and to loose a engine here would drastic for us and the surrounding areas

Please stop putting life at risk by reducing professional cover within the fire services. Rural communities rely on the services provided.

I also work for local emergency services and for Broadway station to be closed would be madness. Putting money before peoples' lives? It's surely busier now than when the fire station was first built; more vehicles on the road which leads to more RTCs, more buildings, more population.

This is absolute madness, Broadway Fire Station has served this community for over a hundred years and now when the village is on the point of expansion they want close it down, stop and think that is what you are paid to do!!!

We have one of the best fire services in Britain. Leave them alone, we need every one of them, stop cutting our vital services.

as the town is getting bigger does it not make sense to keep 3 appliances also having the motorway net work close would reduce the eta for incidents on there also your putting firefighters lives at risk as they would have to wait longer for back up ie ba crews at fires as a ex firefighter i think your making the wrong decision

Do not enforce these cuts, these people do a great job. Making these cuts feel like the government don't care about us. Surely people's lives should be top of the list. Making cuts to people who help save lives is disgusting!

The Government and any person involved in these proposed cuts will HAVE to accept complete & ABSOLUTE responsibility if any person is injured or maimed due to this action. The Government could & SHOULD save the £4.7 million in other ways which would not put innocent lives at risk.
