It would be suicide if we lost Bewdley Fire Station. We live about 2 miles out of Bedley on the Severn quite remote. If the fire crews had to travel from Kidderminster it would be too late to save us. The SVR also need the fire crews to be handy.

I don't live in this area but a lot of my friends and there families do. Knowing that they have the services around them to help keep them safe, means a lot to me.

If you take our fire station you are condemning poeple to death, because the fire stations you are keeping are too far away. It will take half an hour for anyone to get to us. I don't understand how this isn't against health and safety to be honest. We need our fire-station in Bewdley and so does the surrounding area!!! You blame cuts but this is carelessness for peoples lives. You may be cutting 3.7 million but how many people will loose loved ones because of fires that you will be letting happen if you close these places.

As tax payers we have the right to influence where our money is used. What, if anything , are our cllrs doing to inform us of the budget strategy and medium financial plan for our district? Surely there are other services or back office functions that can deliver the savings that DO NOT RISK LIVES! Our fire service also supports the local community events and in their own time raise money for charity. Please stop taking the soul out if our town.

For an expanding town, where is the logic of cutting services. They cover a big area, which will only force other stations to crumble under the pressure. X

I know this area well nad the Council Tax payers are just as entitled to sleep safely in their beds there as anywhere else.

Emergency services should be maintained at optimum levels at all times. People will die because of these 'cutbacks'!!!
