This is a petition to boycott pay parking at the emergency sections of Victoria General and Royal Jubilee hospitals. What a sneaky and callous way to make money as a result of our pain and suffering and vulnerability. A wait in an emergency can most definitely take hours and each hour that we wait is coming out of our pockets. So what happens when we run out of parking money...we have to go home? UNFAIR...UNJUST...UNREASONABLE and just plain GREED....
On the Victoria General Hospital Website, it states that proceeds made from parking goes to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation but do we really need pay parking at our emergencies?  What about the" This is an emergency...my kid is sick...and I can not worry about a parking meter right now foundation?" Something must be done. This should not be tolerated. There are better ways to handle Emergency Parking at hospitals.
