WE are totally against the plans to expand Heathrow, and are insulted by the propaganda and lies put out by the (industry financed) Back Heathrow group. Their "survey " is so biased and dishonest in its quiestions that NONE of the results will have any validity.
We do not want a starter of 250,000 flights overhead. We had a terrible taster of what it would be like with the recent trials. We don't want our children kept awake, having to shout in our back garden, having to turn up the TV as the planes thunder over. How dare Heahtorw suggest that we somehow won't notice. We are against the expansion plans and reject the spin that Heathrow must expand or die.

Heathrow already impacts hundreds of thousands of Londoners with intolerable noise disturbance and air pollution. No way to any further expansion at Heathrow.

The recent trials have awoken locals to the dramatic impact changing Heathrow airspace can have, what's most worrying is that Heathrow completely failed to predict the suffering that they would cause - how can we trust any predictions about changing or increasing flights?
Do we really need more airport capacity? Even if we do should it be at an airport that already has the highest amount of those affected by noise pollution nearby? NO

Just received a mailout from 'back heathrow' with some very leading questions. I am worried at how much money heathrow is putting into this! Don't let our quality of life be lowered to make the shareholders of heathrow some extra cash.

The noise of aircraft in my area is already intolerable. With expansion it will only get worse. People's lives are being ruined - mental and physical health are being affected. STOP now.

Heathrow are already causing high aircraft noise levels in previously unaffected areas by their so-called flight path trials. These were supposed to stop on 12th November but haven't. If they are already dishonest about "trials", it makes me fear what the permanent consequences of a third runway will be.

We need to share this with as many people as possible, and request they sign. Being woken up by flights at 4:30am is not funny when you get to bed after work at 1am

This airport's expansion is already out of control as the huge noise and air pollution produced is affecting on a daily basis hundreds of thousands if not millions who live in the Greater London area.
