Ban The Leaf Blowers in Las Vegas, Green Valley & Summerlin

At 8:13 am infront on my door in my apt complex.

It is not necessary to have a obnoxiously sounding RNGGGGGG going off at 7 am daily when a rake or electric leaf blower would do the same job. They already cause deafness and is terrible for the air which is becoming more of a worry with climate change.

I am so tired of getting woken up by these guys with their leaf blowers every day at 7am. It's seriously infuriating, and I really hope that we join the other cities in the US that have banned the use of them in residential areas.

Our apartment complex has leaf blowers from 7am to 5pm everyday.. seems excessive.. never a quite moment.. so many complain. Also, bot safe. I have allergies... 5 days a week all day is too much...

I sit outside Einsteins by the UNLV having coffee when these two guys with leaf blowers come up blowing dust all over and into my coffee. These machines are nothing but poluters and virus spreaderd they should be banned state wide

I am against the gasoline blowers because they’re not only noisy also they smell literally Gasoline everywhere not only when they are doing that also for neighbors houses . I am having allergies and I cannot breathe with that also once a blowing all dust goes directly to our swimming pool so it’s disgusting. I told many times stopped doing that but they continue to do. So please do somebody a good thing and stop it.

Leaf blowers should never have been allowed! They are one of the most detrimental ïnventions to the health of any creature - humans and animals and plants - and they need to be banned EVERYWHERE!

Is this petition going anywhere? Many cities across US have banned them. Can someone post an update what's happening with this petition? Why is taking such a long time for summerlin/Las Vegas to ban these? Sick & tired of hearing them every morning next to my bedroom window. Not to mention how bad they are for the environment. Ban these heavy equipments, they have no place in our neighborhoods, they belong to construction sites, BAN these monsters

Driving me crazy in the Silverstone ranch area!

My wife is a physician, obgyn, and is often called in the middle of the night. She comes back exhausted at odd hours and by the time she finds a bit of sleep, the gardeners start there loud and polluting blowers at 7am. I myself suffer from insomnia, and also, out of fatigue, start sleeping around 6am to be awaken by a concert of no less than 3 blowers within 30 yards.

The biggest key part of this problem Is the ignorant people who are hiring these illegal immigrants too lazy to use a broom or rake.
