Ban The Leaf Blowers in Las Vegas, Green Valley & Summerlin

Not only the fumes and constant noise, the thing that annoys me most is the constant revving. Leaf blowers aren't even that efficient at cleaning up leaves they just randomly blow leaves in a general direction. JUST USE A RAKE.

I am sitting on my patio outside right at this moment and the landscapers are using their gas powered lead blower and gas powered leaf trimmer. I am at least 1000’ away from them and I can smell the gas fumes which are very strong. I am upstairs also. The noise is so loud that I can’t even hear my husband talking to me and he is sitting 5’ across from me. Not only is is loud, obnoxiously loud, and the fumes will give you a headache, but it takes them a couple of hours to blow like 7 leaves. Please let’s get this done, let’s ban them now

With all the technology in the world, why on earth do these things have to be so LOUD!!! On Wednesday, leaf blowers went on my community for over two hours! Unacceptable.

What about Henderson? We constantly hear the blowers from multiple landscape/gardeners....many times 3-4 blowing at once!

These are toxic for the neighborhood. Five - six days a week surrounding my house and on the street above. Most often they are blowing on windy days. Paying a hefty price here and can't go out and enjoy my neighborhood. A broom is good and allows neighbors who work from home some peace.

They are loud and stinky.

lawn companies make it their only tool .. blow everything to the street and then they leave.. destroying air quality!!!

Besides the fact that it’s polluting the air with noise and all types of dirt, dust and bacteria and carbon monoxide, I quite frankly think the people using them are having fun, annoying people which has been my experience. Also, where is it being blown to the landscapers in my condominium complex will be blowing when the wind is blowing 65 miles an hour please make it makes sense. It can’t because it doesn’t make any sense.

I absolutely hate these machines! They are so loud you can hear them from a half a mile away! When they outside your home there is no escape from the Loud noise! I can't wait till all of them are banned!

It’s ridiculous. They start early in SCA Henderson. They blow just to blow so that homeowners actually think they’re getting their money’s worth. In reality it’s just a lot of dust being blown up & down the streets!
